He has everything else to include all the accessories for the original 348 (it was stolen with the trans). It has a rebuilt generator, 4BBl Rochester carbm, rebuilt starter, new 3´ exhaust w/ mufflers from H pipe back, new gas tank, new float assembly, radiator, resurfaced fly wheel. The complete suspension was replaced with new shocks and springs, complete body bushing kit, new break booster, master cylinder, proportion valve kit, the front was converted to disk brakes with new rotors and calipers, it has new back brakes w/ surfaced drums, and rebuilt wheel cylinders. The glass - rear window, driver and rear driver good. It has no windshield and passenger side is cracked but has hardware. It also has a reverse light kit and he has most all of the molding and chrome but it needs to be refurbished.The cars frame was completely torn down and derusted, treated, primed and painted. The cars body was derusted, he replaced the trunk pan and front passenger pan. Car is 99% rust free. Car has 5% tint on the back window with 15% on the sides from Sound Vision with a lifetime warranty. The car has a cat delete with an exhaust cutout welded in place, Flowmaster dual exit muffler, and 3.5 inch chrome tips from American Muffler here in town. This was my first car and I need to sell it because I don´t have the time to put into it. The car has 252,000 miles on it and the number 6 cylinder is low on compression. The piston ring is shot and is allowing oil past into the combustion chamber. The car will start and run but smokes because of this. This car would make a great drag car because it´s a hard top with standard windows and locks, cloth interior, etc. which makes it the lightest version made by gm. It has been sitting for a while now. The radio and speakers are not in the car. The dash pad is cracked and the driver seat is torn. These are typical problems with f-bodies. The car comes with a complete set of 5 spoke wheels from a firebird. I have a complete set of the stock ´salad shooter´ type aluminum wheels if preferred as they are the lightest stock wheel gm produced (16.9 lbs each). Details: i have for sale this 1997 chevy 3500 crew cab 1 ton 2wd short bed. it has a 5.7l 350 vortec engine with a 4l80 auto trans and 410 rear axle gear ratio. odometer shows 119k miles. this truck runs and drives great. it has a very strong running gear and will pull anything you put behind it. this truck is an ex phone company truck and has been well maintained and serviced. this truck used to have a tool body but has a swb bed on it now. windsheild is cracked at bottom but does not obstruct the view. ac needs charging, rear passenger inside door handle needs replaceing ($17) at local parts store, front seat has a small tear on each side. the body is in great shape but could use a paint job. all in all a good dependable strong work truck. kelly´s blue book in poor condition is $3572 so im asking $3500 and its far from poor condition. clear title in hand call 912-592-3569 thanks chris Location: douglasit´s NOT ok to contact this poster with services or other commercial interests

Details: You are viewing a true survivor! I purchased this 1968 Chevrolet Short Bed from the original owner´s grandson in April of 2009. Yes, it was in the same family for 41 years! It still retains all of its original major engine components (250cid straight six with three on the tree) as well as all of its original body panels. The interior was slightly updated for the first time in 1999 which includes a new seat cover, dash vinyl, and some material over the factory door panels (the previous owner said the original door panels were fine). It also has a newer rear slide window (practical but NOT original. . .. . ..blaaa). Although I have the original wheels and hub caps, there is a set of vintage aluminum mag wheels currently on the truck with a super nice set of tires (lots of tread but age unknown). Although it has been repainted, the original color is the extremely desirable ´Chevy Orange´ you see. Even though it was stored inside and under-cover for most of its life, there is some minor rust starting in the typical areas, such as the rockers and corners of the doors. The bed is rock solid with the front panel and tail gate being as straight as an arrow (they are typically ´bowed´ from years of misuse). I just spent $700.00 to have the fuel system flushed, gas tank removed and cleaned out, and a complete tune-up, coil, and the rear end flushed and refreshed, and a new battery. It runs fantastic. Also, I have a 1-1/2 page typed transcript written by the grandson documenting the history of this truck. And, this truck still retains its ORIGINAL, near mint owner´s manual and ´owner protection plan´ manual with the steel ´protecto-plate´ still attached. . ...incredible! PLUS, a colored copy of the original window sticker ($2698.50 purchase price), bill of sale, and monthly payment schedule ($72.79). It is a very straight and solid truck with a clean and fantastic history! It has NEVER been abused, driven hard, neglected, or used as a ´farm truck.´ Don´t let this one get away.
