Original V8 truck. 4:56 rear replaced with limited slip Dana 60 rear w/3:54 gears, truck is completely highway-worthy. Registered, running, insured and driven weekly. Can hold 70mph all day long.NV body that´s 95% rust free. Cab corner inners and outers were replaced. Floors very solid, only issue would be the driver´s side door bottom and leading edge and various minor scratches, dings, faded paint, etc from 53 years of use. Frame is solid as a rock. Have another driver´s side door that I will throw in if you buy the truck for my asking price.Body is mostly original black paint. Paint is faded in spots, ´original patina´.Bed wood, wheel wells, hardware, strips, mounting hardware, nuts/bolts, and cross members are BRAND new. Has original solid steel utility bumper. Entire bed interior and underside was sanded, treated with Ospho and coated with Zero-Rust (like POR-15).Interior is mostly original. Seat professionally recovered w/black madrid grain vinyl, custom stitched, NOT a pre-made cover. All coils tied together to firm up seat, all new padding. Seatbelts installed. Interior is gold. Some IDIOT cut out the radio opening to mount a shitty $29 tape deck. Not totally hacked, but it will have to be repaired if you want it original.Windows roll up and down, but need new channels and fuzzies. Doors open and close, sometimes have to be slammed a bit hard, latches work. Driver´s side vent window has small crack, windshield has a few dings and shading at edge, but still perfectly usable.All gauges, horn, lights, signals, heater/blower and stereo work.Wipers converted to electric. Original heater ducting will have to be reinstalled, have new glove box liner. Glove box lock works.Engine is 1970 350/300hp block that someone bolted the original 283 top end to. Has cast iron 4bbl manifold w/edelbrock carb, and power pack heads with staggered bolt holes. Original points ignition. BRAND NEW, CUSTOM MADE dual exhaust, still shiny. Original SM420 4 speed with granny low, works fine. New belts, hoses, anti-freeze, thermostat. Radiator appears to have been recored, maintains steady temp. Battery is 6mo old. Truck starts easily and runs steady, has plenty of power. Smokes a bit on startup, nothing major.Original under the floor single well master cyl and manual brakes. Work fine, checked them out, drums/pads/hardware/wheel bearings all in good shape. Rear end has ALL NEW drums, shoes, brake hardware, wheel cylinders, bearings, races, lines, and gaskets.CT DOES NOT TITLE VEHICLES OVER 10 YEARS OF AGE, SO I DO NOT HAVE A TITLE, BUT IF YOU´RE INTERESTED, I WILL BE HAPPY TO HELP HOWEVER I CAN.All in all, a nice, mostly original truck that´s running, reliable, and on the road.I´d value this truck in current condition around $6000.
