Details: I have a 1986 Chevrolet S10 pickup. It´s the Durango model, which just means its a 2.8L long bed truck. I´m asking $500 for it, and the main problem is that it has no engine. The 2.8L that came in it is locked up from rust because it was pulled out and sat outside, while the truck sat in a garage for 2 years. I put the engine back in thinking i could get it to run but lots of wires had been cut under the hood and when i finally spliced them back together it had no lead in its pencil. The interior is in pristine condition, save for a little cracking of the dashboard and some very minor spot rust on the door jambs. It has entirely red interior, by the way. It was the 3 speed automatic transmission but the guy i bought it from cut the flange for the shift linkage off of the steering shaft so the column shifter just slides around. 99% of the wiring is still there and a good battery comes with it. Just bought the battery a few weeks ago and gave it a full charge before i realized the engine was shot. The body is in pretty damn good shape, with a brand new, still unpainted passenger side front fender. The previous owner sideswiped a tree and the bed still has a pretty good sized rough patch on the passenger side. There is also a small dent on the passenger side of the cab right above the rear window, about 3 inches long and 3/4 of an inch deep. Other than where the paint was cracked from the tree collision there is virtually no rust. This would be an awesome project truck or workin beater to get you from A to B with a rebuilt engine.
