Details: I am posting this for my mother. She recently bought a new car and no longer has a need for this one. She bought the car in 1999 or 2000 and has owned it ever since. The miles are high due to her driving 80-90 miles a day to and from work on the interstate. Mileage right now is 216,920 but will go up a little as the car is driven a few times a week so its not just setting around. The car has BRAND NEW FIRESTONE TIRES (less than 1000 miles) all the way around, 3.1 V6, automatic, new brakes and rotors, power windows, power locks, power seat, power mirrors, tilt, cruise, cold a/c, hot heat. Replaced water pump and idler pulley around 20,000 miles ago. Had to replace driver´s side headlight assembly because the old one started leaking and was blowing bulbs when they would get wet. This car has plenty of power and runs and drives great! Interior is in great shape. No smoke, knocks, or abnormal noises of any kind. Only known issue is a little rust under the gas door. This car has been reliable since day 1! I wouldnt be a bit afraid to jump in it and drive it California and back right now. It still has plenty of life and miles left in it! Very strong.Crane cam, edelbrock valve covers,etc. Holley programmable throttle body injection w/ Holley intake manifold ($1300 from Summit.)New 4 core radiator ($200), new heater hoses. new oil cooler/ transmission fluid cooler ($150) and new lines.BF Goodrich 33x12.5x15 tires ($1000) with about 1/2-3/4 tread left mounted on factory aluminum 15x10 rims.Factory AC (needs recharging?), power windows, power locks, power gate window.Indash Pioneer CD Stereo and Kenwood speakers.Brand new spare tire.The bad:Mismatched axles, so currently the front driveshaft is removed. I have the driveshaft. If you are interested I have a pair of matching axles available, 3.73:1 3/4 TON w/ superwinch hubs $350 or best offer.Brake cable is broke, so must be towed.Currently the battery needs to be replaced. Details: 1957 Chevrolet two door, V8 Powerglide Auto car needing restoration. Southern car that has rust in floors, door bottoms etc, Trunk is pretty solid except for some holes along the insde edge, spare tire well is good. This car comes with a complete (not in car) great running and working detailed factory 283 four barrel V8 engine (staggered bolt valve cover/heads) and factory Powerglide automatic transmission that came in another 57 that I have.Has all the bumpers, trim etc. Comes with a real good front factory folding bench seat (Hard to find and not cheap $$$) has back seat and other interior pieces. This is a fairly easy restoration of a fairly solid old chevy, I wish I could keep her, but too many projects.Comes with a clear Tennessee title in my name. This would make a great project and with it being a 57 Chevy will only increase in value substantially after you get it up and running.
