Details: I have a 1999 Chevrolet Monte Carlo Z34. It has 138 thousand miles..which is exceptionally low. I just put two new front tires and a tie rod on it. It has black leather, a sunroof, cruise control, a CD player, and steering wheel controls. As of last week the gas line/ gas tank will need to be replaced for it to startup/run. My mechanic said it would cost around $700 dollars for that to be fixed. Besides that the check engine light is on, which I think is an old O2 sensor or MassAirFlow sensor. The car ran fine until the gas line/ gas tank rotted out; It has been my daily driver since September of 2011 and this has been it´s only issue. I would fix it but I just bought a motorcycle. You cannot find a $1,000 dollar car these days without it being a complete piece of junk, this one isn´t. With a little work this car will be fine. Details: I have a 1999 Chevrolet Monte Carlo Z34. It has 138 thousand miles..which is exceptionally low. I just put two new front tires and a tie rod on it. It has black leather, a sunroof, cruise control, a CD player, and steering wheel controls. As of last week the gas line/ gas tank will need to be replaced for it to startup/run. My mechanic said it would cost around $700 dollars for that to be fixed. Besides that the check engine light is on, which I think is an old O2 sensor or MassAirFlow sensor. The car ran fine until the gas line/ gas tank rotted out; It has been my daily driver since September of 2011 and this has been it´s only issue. I would fix it but I just bought a motorcycle. You cannot find a $1,000 dollar car these days without it being a complete piece of junk, this one isn´t. With a little work this car will be fine.
