Details: I am looking to sell my 2000 Chevy S-10 LS pickup with only 109,000 miles on it. The truck has a 4.3 Liter V6 engine, automatic transmission, push button 4WD, power steering, ABS, heat & A/C, dual air bags (never deployed), stock rims (not hubcaps), rugged liner bedliner, husky liner floormats, and an aftermarket tonneau cover that is less than 3 years old.In the last 2 years, I have replaced all the brakes and rotors, the water pump, the alternator, one rear caliper, one front wheel bearing, all the brake lines, and the emergency brake lines. The vehicle does start and run, however. . .Recently, the engine has started missing on 2 of the cylinders, and my mechanic advised me not to drive it without having the top half of the engine rebuilt. Like I said, it does drive, but it´s not advisable to do so. I didn´t have the money to invest in the engine and I didn´t want to kill the truck by driving it. So, before doing any more damage, I parked it and took it off of my insurance.The body of the truck is in pretty fair condition and it has been my daily driver for the past 7 years. There is some minor damage to the front end from when I rear-ended another truck last Fall, however the air bags did not deploy, and the damage to both vehicles was only cosmetic.I think this can still be a good vehicle for someone who has the ability to fix the engine issues it is having. Otherwise, all of the other features of the truck are in full working order.The Blue Book value on this vehicle in Fair condition for a Private Seller is $4,676. Honestly, this vehicle is not even up to Fair condition, but only due to the engine issues. At the same time, I am asking for less than half of this value, $2,000 OBO.The Title to this vehicle is clean and in hand. It was very well taken care of and well maintained. The only noticeable issue on the outside of the car is a little scrape and a little chunk of paint taken off from my step dad goofing off with a pressure washer. However, it has a V6 engine in it, power doors, power locks and windows, cloth interior, automatic, AC works perfect, the tires are relatively new, it is inspected until 10/12, and it has an after market radio installed in it with an MP3 hook up but if you are not interested in that I still have the stock radio that I can replace it with. Overall this is a very good reliable car it gets good gas mileage about 19-20 city and 25-27 highway. It has never been wrecked or in an accident.
