Details: Very nice and very original 55 Chevy Belair four door sedan. 235 inline six cylinder engine, 3 speed manual ´three on the tree´. 80,000 original miles, clean title in hand. This is a very solid Missouri car, frame, body and floorboards are rust free. I brought it to Wisconsin in 2008, where I have driven it to car shows and cruises and kept it garage stored and covered. Complete car, all glass, trim and upholstery in good shape.Engine and transmission are original, car runs and drives nicely. Stock exhaust manifold has been modified and true dual exhausts run with glass pack mufflers, this car purrs.I had a complete new brake system professionally installed in the car in 2009. New power booster, new dual line master cylinder, all new retrofit disc brakes in front, rear drums completely rebuilt. This brake upgrade makes the car much more drivable in modern traffic.This is a sweet little classic and it gets lots of attention wherever you drive it. The car has been repainted in original colors at some point. There is some filler in the front fenders below the headlights, but that´s the only problem area on the car. I fixed everything wrong with the truck, taillights were busted up so that was first, hood and driver side fender were bent up from wreck so i replaced that as well with better quality hood and fender, it has automatic windows and door locks that work exceptionally cruise control works as well, there was a cd player in it but the guy i bought it off of bought it back from me so now there isnt one, so the truck mechanically is sound but needs alot of tlc in the visual area but nothing wrong performance wise, hope it goes to good home soon I need my backyard back.
