Details: hello i am selling my chevy silverado 1500, its a 2000 with about 135k miles. im gonna be straight forward here the truck looks like a piece of junk, but it isnt that bad. From the bed forward the exterior is in okay condition with almost no rust. the bed is dented and as you can see in the picture it has a huge dent in it from a tree. the truck does not run as of 5 days ago, the transmission went and the fuel pump went, the truck turns over but does not fire due to the fact that it need a fuel pump. the motor still has plenty of life left in it and still is running strong(with a fuel pump), up until the tranny and fuel pump went the truck ran mint and was very dependable. there are 4 tires with between 50 and70% tread left, has 1 flat, as you can see the spare is on. the interior is 95%, ive always kept it clean as did my grandfather, it is in mint condition for the year and everything works. the truck is missing a rear bumper and the tow bar is gone from being hit by a drunk driver. if you want to spend the 500 in parts to get it running it would be a very dependable work truck, but i cant afford the parts or the gas for that matter,. the gas gauge does not work 100% it tends to work when it wants too. the under carriage of the vehicle is starting to accumulate some surface rust but its still solid. the truck has no catylitic converters and a thrush glasspack muffler. if you need a parts truck come get it off my hands because its just taking up space. call or text Colton at 603-921-0286 and give me your best offer, but ill tell you i can get between 600 and 700 for just scrapping it, ive been told $220 per metric ton, and the truck ways 6700. let me know the worst i can do is say no. I have recently come to the realization that I do not have the time for my goals for this vehicles and it is time to move on to something else. I have always done the maintenece on this vehicles and put a good amount of time and money as well. About a two years ago I installed a rebuilt 5.7L 350 (2 bolt main) motor by Marshalls Machine in Maine, had a customer 3´ header back exhaust done and purchased a 700R transmissions (which will come with the car). I had it painted at Maaco when I was young and broke, so paint is something that will have to be addressed. Mechanically the Camaro is solid, but the body does need some work from what I am told. I does have a sticker until 2013 and is registered as a antique. Interior is about a 8-10 for it´s age, but it does need a headliner. This would be an excellent project car for someone or a good base for someone looking to make a drag car. If you have any questions feel free to email me or text.
