Here goes....under 6k on new auto 350 turbo trans took the old 700r and junked it. also under 6k is the engine that is a 350 with 1.6 roller rockers, crane stud girdles, 350/400 heads cut 10 thous also block board 10 thous. billet street fire aluminum distributor and msd wires.flat top pistons and scat crank,comp cam and lifters, milidon 7 quart oil pan and milton high flow oil pump. alum chev valve covers and edelbrock intake. brand new 3 coil radiator and heater core.the truck also has a/c and cruise but the cruise does not work.The pick-up also has a 4´ lift kit dual flow master exhaust with the old style cast drop manifolds{he didn´t like headers} aluminum 15´ rims with brand new bf goodrich all terrain 33´ tires. you must run high octane in this truck...oh one more thing the photo from the drivers side right in front of the rear tire looks like rust but it isn´t. The Special Deluxe has a nicer interior and much more chrome and stainless steel trim.This car has been under (amateur) restoration for the last 12 years and has been on the road for the last 2 or 3 years. It runs, drives, and looks good for its age. It is very complete and has many hard to find NOS and new parts. It has had a frame off restoration and the car is very solid. This car had very little rust when restoration began.The paint and body work were not professionally done and are not perfect, but look decent. The interior is all new and professionally done. This car is 71 years old and is not perfect, but is nicer than most cars from the 40´s. Most of these cars have been modified and had V8´s installed, it is very difficult to find one in mostly original condition. This car is very reliable and I currently drive it around town. These are very difficult to tell from the originals, but are much better. The engine was completely rebuilt and has hardened valve seats to run on unleaded gas. It starts and runs very nicely.- It has its original 3 speed manual transmission with shift lever on the steering column. It was professionally rebuilt, but typically requires double clutching.- The electrical system has been completely replaced and has been upgraded to 12 volts.- Most of the stainless steel trim is original (cleaned) and most chrome pieces have been re-chromed.- There was very little rust to begin with and all sheet metal is original (no fiberglass panels, all steel).- The original dual interior heaters are installed, but coolant is not being run through them as it is only driven in the summer.- The car has all new glass. One of the front windows has spider web cracks in the top passenger corner.- Bumpers, grill, and other parts have been re-chromed.- New tires and hub caps. Wheels were sand blasted and painted, but show pitting.- New spotlight.- Combination of new and old working gauges.- Clock does not work, but looks nice. It looks good and complete on the inside and should be repairable.- Most of the paint shines nicely. For a real show car more clear coat runs could be sanded out and body work on fenders could be done better.I have a clear Indiana title for the car and it is currently licensed and driven in Indiana.I would prefer to sell this car for cash to begin my next restoration project. Wheels were sand blasted and painted, but show pitting.- New spotlight.- Combination of new and old working gauges.- Clock does not work, but looks nice. It looks good and complete on the inside and should be repairable.- Most of the paint shines nicely. For a real show car more clear coat runs could be sanded out and body work on fenders could be done better.I have a clear Indiana title for the car and it is currently licensed and driven in Indiana.I would prefer to sell this car for cash to begin my next restoration project. Details: I bought this truck last fall and it needed a LOT of work. I have done the brakes all the way around, replaced the line going to rear. Did blower motor and resistor. Windshield. Water pump. All the belts. Plugs, cap, rotor, coil, and wires. Replaced carb with Edelbrock 1406. Serviced both diffs. Shocks all way around. Thermostat, upper and lower rad hoses. About 10 yrs ago thr front fenders and doors were replaced with new ones. The floor pans are all rusted thru at the edges. The rear support bracket for the bed area needs replaced. Both rear qtrs need replaced. I always wanted one of these older Blazers and this truck would make a really cool truck with the body being fixed. It runs perfect, has gobs of power, and the 4 wheel drive works. Other than the body work, it needs springs, I was going to do it, but was unsure whether or not I was going to lift it. If you´re a bodyman, its a good project. If not, and you have the funds for bodyshop, this is the truck! I will consider offers. Text 2607155330. Possible trade?
