Details: 1999 CHEVROLET 1500 LT SUBURBAN - LOW MILEAGE NON SMOKER OWNED - SUPERB ORIG - GARAGED - SUBURBAN This vehicle has only had two previous owners. It has approximately 58,000 actual miles. It has never been smoked in. It has three rows of seats. It has all the options one could hope for. It was always an adult owned and never abused, garage kept vehicle. Although it has the factory tow package, it was only used to tow a small boat (outboard) and has never even been hooked up for trailer brakes. The original paint is excellent (dark green metallic). The original leather and carpets are near mint original only showing the slightest of wear and no damage anywhere/never re-dyed and beautiful clean (as new) carpets. The dash board is perfect, no cracks or prior repairs. It still has its original manuals. The only paint work that we aware of is the tail gate, which was repainted due to incorrectly locking his boat trailer down resulted in light damage to it when it sprung up and dinged/scratched it once. The wheels (factory optional alloys) have minor surface issues in a couple of places. There are a couple of very minor dings and nicks on the vehicle, from parking lots, which the photos will depict. The tires are nearly new. On the highway she gets upper teens mpg. The 1999 is the last of the real clean body style Suburban models. Finding an ultra low mileage example that has always been babied and taken care of is quite rare. On a scale of 1-10, we would rate this vehicle as an eight or maybe even an eight and half. We purchased this vehicle recently from its second owner (he had it since 2004 and bought it with 29,668 miles from the Chevrolet dealer that sold it new). Our intention was to use it for towing a car trailer with. After getting it home, we really feel that it is too good to use for that purpose. We have two dogs, so if we let them in it, the next to mint original leather interior wouldn´t stay that way for very long at all. It is also equipped with front and rear (dual) air conditioning. Last week, we discovered that the front brakes were worn, so we replaced both rotors, installed new pads and she is good to go. As far as we can determine, this vehicle could be easily driven across the country. You just don´t find these last of a series models in this sort of suberb order. This is a great Suburban! I have installed a Pioneer DEHP3001b that has an Ipod jack and will play MP3, WMA, and AAC disks. I bought the vehicle with 85,000 miles in July of 2004 and now has appx 145k at the time of the posting, which is low mileage for this vehicle. Average should be over 200,000. This car has not been driven hard or abused for the time I have owned it. I work at a shop so I have the advantage of doing my own maintenance to the car over the last 4 years. I have run full synthetic oil since I bought it with 85k miles. I have also run 93 grade gas since I bought it and don´t go to sheets, wilco, or hess stations. I have always done maintenance on time or before time. I have put many new parts on this vehicle but I have to get rid of a vehicle because my wife and I have 4. I have used mostly Napa and GM dealer parts when fixing any issues. I will make notes below of what I have replaced and to the best of my knowledge when it was done. Some I have bills for and some I don´t. On the things that I did the work on I wont have a mechanics bill just the bill where I purchased thepart. I am asking $3,699 for the car. This would be a great starter car and a fun summer car. If properly maintained and driven properly it should get 25 mpg in town and 30 mpg on the highway. State inspection sticker is good. The only issue I know is the clear coat is starting to come off which is very common on red cars and the baffle that directs air in the dash does not feel like it is working properly. Details: 2001 Chevrolet 2500 HD LT Crew Cab 4x4 Long Bed Duramax Diesel. 190,000 miles. Leather interior with no tears. 265/75/16E BF Goodrich Commercial T/A tires that were put on January 2011 and now have approx. 10,000 miles on them. I purchased this truck 8 years ago with less than 50,000 miles on it from a local dealer. Shortly after purchasing the 2 of the injectors went bad and since there was a service bulletin on the injectors all 8 were replaced by dealer under warranty so it now has the updated injectors. Approx. a $3,500 repair if you had to pay out of pocket. The truck has been well maintained and has had the water pump replaced, both front bearing/hub assemblies replaced, brakes, and shocks. Myself and the previous owner recorded all maintenance records to date in the owners manual. The body has no rust and only minimal paint chips from rocks and such. Everything in truck works with the exception of a couple of the lights behind the numbers on the radio so you cannot see all of the numbers at night. Has captains chairs in front with center console and overhead console with bench seat in back. Husky floor liners front and rear since I bought the truck in February 2004. Oversized 26´ diamond plate toolbox and diamond plate bedrail caps. Stainless rocker panel covers. Gooseneck hide-a-way hitch in bed with trailer connection. I have never used the gooseneck but the previous owner did pull a horse trailer. Electric brake box. Now for the bad.... I recently discovered that occasionally I was getting some coolant leaking from the overflow. After checking with the mechanic at the dealership he has informed me that I am getting combustion gas into the cooling system. It is not leaking coolant back into the block, only combustion gas into the coolant system due to the high compression of the diesel. Dealer quoted replacing both headgaskets which includes machining both heads to ensure proper sealing and repair at $3,111.56. This is a turn key repair estimate from Fellers Chevrolet in Altavista, VA which is where truck was purchased. I am wanting to sell truck as is. NADA values truck at $13,825 which is over $4,000 above asking price. This should cover the repair and the headache of having to have the work done. If I had not informed a potential buyer of the problem they probably would never know it existed as the truck presents no other signs other than an occasional leak from the overflow, however, I cannot in good conscience sell a vehicle with a problem and not tell a potential buyer.
