Details: I am selling my daily driver 1999 Chevy S10 with a 2.2L Automatic Transmission (4L60e) with 146k miles. The body is a solid 8/10 and interior is 9/10. It has no mechanical issues and is ready to go for the next owner. When I bought the truck last summer and it needed some TLC. I have made this truck excellent again with a full tune-up, platinum Delco plugs and wires, new thermostat and water pump, coolant flush and setup with extended life coolant, new oil air filter, new fuel filter, new serpentine belt and new tensioner, new front wheel bearings (inner and outer), changed the transmission fluid twice using Valvoline Maxlife ATF and new gaskets/filters, changed the rear end fluid using Valvoline Synthetic Gear Oil, and changed the oil at 200, 1000 and every 3000 miles since I have had it using Valvoline Maxlife and WIX oil filters. The truck does not burn or use oil. I had the exhaust fixed (front piping, new cat converter and the muffler was replaced when I bought it). It had an oil leak when I bought it from the valve cover and that has been fixed with a quality FelPro gasket. It has a minor oil leak from the oil pan, but it hasn´t bothered me enough to take the pan off and fix it. The truck is road worthy and I wouldn´t mind driving it to Florida today. It gets great MPG for a truck considering today´s gas prices. If you need a quality truck with high MPG at a great price this is for you. The only issue I can think of is a hard start issue when the motor is hot. I can´t figure out why it is doing it. Research has shown that this may be a 2.2l issue and not unique to this truck. Example: When it sits for an hour or overnight it fires up immediately. When it sits 15 minutes after driving, it takes a few extra cranks or you can push the accelerator to the floor and it fires right up. It´s almost like it is flooded, but I haven´t figured out why. It hasn´t bothered me enough to worry about it enough and I don´t think it´s a big deal.Features: 2.2L 18mpg city/22 mpg (20mpg combined), Power Steering, Stock Radio, Cold AC, no issues or warning lights, body isn´t tore up or rusted, fluids have been changed and peace of mindNeeds: Front tires and alignmentI really don´t have to sell this truck, so don´t expect me to take some low ball offer as I won´t. Trades: Probably not going to happen. The ONLY trade I would consider is a Honda/Acura product. That doesn´t mean Cavalier or Toyota, it means Honda/Acura only. If you have a Honda in the same price range let me know and we can consider an even trade.
