These cars are getting hard to find without bondo and rust. This is a hardtop model. This has been my dream camaro. have over 7 thousands dollars invested. I bought this car off the second owner, always kept in a garage. So what I have built is a street and strip car out of this. Things I removed to save weight are AC,PS,Heater,Rear Seats. I do have the rear seats and they are in mint condition as is the rest of the interior. This car does have power windows and power release hatch, and tilt steering. I also installed a small electric heater for the colder fall days. Anyways ill run down the list of mods real quick starting with the rear end, Factory drum 10bolt housing with the 26 spline axles upgraded to the bigger 28 spline axles, Auburn Posi, Motive Gears 3.73 ring and pinion. New Universal Joints. Factory steel driveshaft. Factory TH700R4 transmission 85 model 30 spline input, B&M stage 2 shift kit, Corvette Servo, Rev Max 3200 non lockup 9.5´ torque converter, transmission oil cooler. Engine is a 350 2 bolt main roller block 1pc rear seal. Bored/honed .040´ oversize, Block has been decked .025´ Starting with the bottom end pro comp cast crank 2pc rear seal, balanced rotating assembly, King main/rod bearings. Rear seal conversion kit to use the 2pc crank in a 1pc block. Scat SFI flexplate, SFI Harmonic, 3hp mini starter, factory GM 5.7 pressed rods, speed pro hypereutectic flat top pistons 5cc two valve releifs. Hastings rings with moly faced top ring. Double roller timing chain, Comp Cams 292 Magnum camshaft, 244/244 @.050 .501/.501 lift 110LSA. Degreed and installed straight up. Sealed power hyd. flatt tappet lifters, Comp cams pushrods, Full roller 1.5 aluminum rocker arms. Comp cams valve springs 130lbs on the seat installed at 1.900´ crane street/strip seals and comp cams 10 degree retainers and locks. Cylinder heads are Engine Quest/RHS Pro Action 220cc. 2.02/1.60 valves. I replced the bronze guides with cast iron guides. 3 angle valve job. Valves are SS REV VALVES and are back cut necked down and swirl polished, light portwork under the intake seats, heavy portwork on the exhaust runners and throat/pocket also exhavest valves have been unshrouded. Heads were then milled .055´ to give a chamber CC of 62. Head flow numbers are INT. 260cfm @ .500 EXH. 185cfm @ .500 heads maxed out at INT. 280cfm @ .600 EXH. 202cfm @ .700. Intake is a Edelbrock RPM Air Gap that has been port matched to the heads and milled .042´ for correct fitment. Intake flowed 265CFM. Carb is a holley 750 double pumper with a HP main body, I also rebuilt that when I built the engine. 50cc accelerator pumps front and rear. MSD billet distributor and MSD street fire CDI box with built in rev control. Pro comp 50K volt coil. Headman 1 5/8 long tube headers with 2 1/2 dual exhaust with two thrush welded mufflers. I estimate this motor to make 440 horse power and 400+ ftlbs torque. 600 break in mikes on new motor. Should run high 7s in the 8th mile. car could use new paint. Needs rear tires, inspection just ran out so depending how you register it you may need to have some tail pipes installed. Will sell this car with motor for 6k or without motor for 2500 or trade for a really nice mustang V8 hardtop no sunroofs. This is a wicked fun car to drive and a blast at the track. Details: You are looking at a 1998 Chevrolet Tahoe LT. It is white with tan leather interior. It has dual power seats and dual heated seats. It also has rear A/C. The Tahoe has been lifted 2´ in the rear and leveled in the front. The tires are one size over factory. 285/75/16. The engine is the 5.7 liter Vortec. According to the odometer there is 192,686 miles on the truck but the title doesn´t have a mileage record on it. I am not sure if this is the actual mileage of the vehicle or not. It is very clean and it runs good. To the best of my knowledge, everything works fine. The rear cargo area has a husky type liner. Details: I am selling my 1997 Chevrolet Tahoe 4wd LT model. I don´t have to sell it as it is just a spare vehicle but the ole lady is pushing it. The truck has about 150k miles on it and has leather interior.The good:Brand new transmission put in last february by gt transmissions.All new a/c components installed last year.Brand new 285/75/r16 mud terrains put on last year. About 85% tread left. Maybe 3500 miles on them. Like i said, this truck doesnt get driven much.4wd works and pulls strong in 4 low.The bad:Paint faded. Typical for this year as chevy chose a horrible paint company for a few years.Front seats leather cracked. Typical once again for a truck of this age and shape.Rear driver door doesnt open.There is an exhaust leak and intake manifold leak. Nothing too major. May have the exhaust leak fixed by the time truck is sold.Electric mirror control doesnt work.Ive tried to describe the truck as accurately as possible. Feel free to email me with any more questions. Like I said, I DONT have to sell this truck so no low ball offers. I feel I have fairly priced it and described it. It has been my hunting truck for the last few years and would make the same for someone else or a daily driver for somebody needed some extra room.
