Details: Up for sale is a 1995 Chevy Lumina 7 passenger Mini Van that has been family owned since. new. Was purchased at Blasius Chevy dealer in Waterbury by my closest uncle who has since passed. It was taken over by my father with about 12 k on the odometer in 1997. I have been driving it since about 52 k. The thing has been babied it´s whole life. I have been putting in Lucas oil stabilizer since I started driving it. This thing is in incredible condition for a 17 year old vehicle. Still has original exhaust ! Cassette player does not work, ( radio is fine ). a few scratches here and there, front hood has paint chips from rocks flying into it. Just did oil change, new wiper blades in front. Had front brake rotor´s turned down last fall, did not need shoes and an oil distributor o ring as it had begun leaking oil. There are no dents, dings, or body rust anywhere on this van. Does not leak oil at all. Must come see and drive. Full size spare tire along with cheap factory doughnut. It would be hard to find a nicer van 17 years old with a price like this. Why pay 25 g´s when u can get this, drive it another 10 years with proper care and use. Cheap to insure, gas mileage not bad at all. Only reason I´m selling is I´m a single guy on disability and I need a small 4 cylinder, this thing is for a family. Put a new cd player or Ipod in and yr ready to go on a trip...I have NEVER been stranded by this thing. I will be around this weekend if you would like to take a test ride ( with me in it ). Will consider trade for Subaru, Dodge Neon, Toyota Corrola, Honda Civic. Can likely come up with additional cash if your vehicle is worth more. Must be a standard for fun factor. Details: Im selling my 1995 Tahoe. It was bought new by my dad, He was a mechanic and so am I, so this truck has always been really well maintained. In the last year I put on new 4 wheel brakes, 4 new shocks, replaced all the fluids and transmissionn filter. new cap rotor and spark plugs, brand new catalytic converter. the transmission is great and doesnt slip at all. The front end is tight and it has never even needed an alignment. Its a non smoker vehicle, with full power leather interior. The interir is in great shape, I kept the truck REALLY clean inside and out. It has one dent in the left rear corner. I have the paint and clear but never got around to fixing it. Theres no body rust at all and the frames in good shape as well. The trucks fully loaded, with a factory CD player. The AC blows ice cold. Everything is all original, and working. The truck has the original manual, floor mats, cargo cover, even the Tahoe bag with the flashlight and medical kit is in the truck. The tires are good (60%) It consistently got 15mpg. Heres the problem, The truck needs an engine. It has a cracked cylinder head. I found a place that sells a reman engine with a 3 yr waranty for 1100, I just dont have time to put it in. This truck is in great shape inside and out. Right now its inside, I know it needs an engine, I dont have time to put one in, If I cant sell this ill just keep it inside untill I do have the time. If someones looking for an easy project that will give them a great truck that will last for years this is it. feel free to ask any questions. SINCE PURCHASING IT I INSTALLED A 3´ TORSION KEY/REAR BLOCK LIFT KIT, DRIVE SHAFT BEARING, BRAND NEW PAINTED BED CAP, BRAND NEW WINSHIELD, DUALLY STAINLESS STEEL WHEEL SIMULATORS, TINTED FRONT WINDOWS, CUSTOM PAINTED COWL INDUCTION HOOD(STILL HAVE ORIGINAL) TINTED HEADLAMPS AND SIGNAL LAMPS AROUND THE TRUCK AND A REAR ENTERTAINMENT SYSTEM INCLUDING VIDEO GAME SYSTEM FOR THE KIDS WITH WIRELESS HEADPHONES. THE TRUCK WAS MAINTAINED WITH 5W40 TURBO DIESEL SYNTHETIC MOBIL 1 OIL BY THE PREVIOUS OWNER SO I CONTINUED USING THE SAME. TRANSMISSION WAS SERVICED LAST FALL BY JACKSON CHEVROLET IN DURHAM CT. DIFFERENTIAL FLUIDS WERE ALSO CHANGED IN THE FALL ALONG WITH RADIATOR FLUSH. EVERY TANK FULL I USE DIESEL KLEAN FUEL TREATMENT ALONG WITH 8 OZ OF 2 STROKE OIL TO KEEP THE FUEL SYSTEM AND INJECTORS LUBRICATED. THE TRUCK HAS THE TYPICAL GLITCHES IN THE DASH LIGHTING (A FEW RADIO BULBS AND CLIMATE CONTROL LAMPS DO NOT WORK) ON THE DUAL CLIMATE CONTROL BUT OTHER THAN THAT IT IS A GREAT RUNNING RELIABLE TRUCK. A/C AND HEAT WORK VERY WELL. I ALSO HAD A REMOTE STARTER WITH TURBO TIMER INSTALLED FOR COLD WINTER MONTHS AND COOLING THE TRUCK DOWN PROPERLY BEFORE SHUT DOWN. THIS TRUCK IS ALL STOCK AND HAS NEVER BEEN MODIFIED EXHAUST OR ENGINE WISE. ALL PARTS LISTED ABOVE HAVE LESS THAN 3,000 MILES ON THEM.
