Details: We purchased this truck with 43,000 miles in 2006 from Copart for $4580. We knew that it would need some work, but it was supposed to be ´prepped and ready´ (Copart term) for fluids drained. We got the truck back to our shop to find that nothing had been done to the truck and the engine was frozen. We purchased an engine with 18,000 miles on it from A&Z Auto Recyclers and dropped it in. One purchase led to another purchase to get this truck into shape. Looking back, we should have parted the truck out when we found out about the engine and stopped spending money! The truck runs good, has new ac components and most everything else is new. A list of all that we replaced, repaired or refurbished is included below. Is the truck perfect? No, but it runs good. The odometer shows 103,000 because it is a replacement gauge cluster. There are three factors involved with the mileage; the truck and original motor had 43,000 miles (that motor is scrapped), the replacement engine had 18,000 miles on it and the replacement gauge cluster had 99,000 on it. We have receipts for all items that are listed. The truck has vinyl floors, manual windows and mirrors. The transmission is manual. We have repaired a tear on the driver´s side seat. The truck does have cruise control and it works. The AC is nice and cold. The stereo is an aftermarket from Best Buy. The back seat belts are in place, but they do not retract well. It is currently registered and inspected. You are welcome to see and drive the truck. The truck is as is. It has a salvage Texas title. We are asking $7995.00 for the truck or we will consider a trade if you have something we can use.
