Details: For sale is a 99 chevrolet silverado 1500 LS extended cab Z71Mileage: 192,056I have had this truck since june and had no breakdowns. I got it in a pinch bc my truck was broken. The guy i bought it from had it from new and was a contractor so he worked out of it. Thats why its in the shape its in. The reason im selling is bc i bought a new truck and i dont need this one anymore. Im all about honesty when it comes to selling a vehicle so here it goes...This truck is in fair condition with some slight mechanical issues. Blue book in fair condition is 5500 so ive got it well under to cover repair costs. It needs a new front left cv joint bc it has slop in it. you can hear it when you turn or going down bumpy road. It has an oil pan leak as well as a brake line leak in back left area. As long as you keep them topped off you can go as far as youd like. This truck will get you from A to B but it does need some attention. The exterior is in fair condition as seen in photos(sorry i didnt wash it) The paint on hood and roof is gone. There are some decent sized dents(dinner plate size approx.) on the body. Some deep scratches also. Rear bumper is in bad shape too. And passenger side door mirror is gone.The interior is so so as well. The console lid is stuck shut but the hinges are broken. The cruise control doesnt work. and the 3rd door latch to open from outside is broken. The inside handle works however so you can still get it open. And lastly the gas guage and temp guage dont always work. Maybe half the time. If the truck sits for a while without being ran the whole guage cluster doesnt work...except for speedometer it always works. I couldnt ever figure out what was causing it but i believe something isnt turning off and slowly wearing the battery down. If i drive the truck everyday i never have any problems with it(battery stays charged) Now the good...The 4x4 works as well as the a/c. The motor/transmission runs good and all parts seem to be in good condition other than what i listed. The tires are approx 75% and one size larger than stock. This truck would be best used as a ranch truck or as project truck. Ive got it for 3,500 obo wich is 2000 under blue book so dont lowball me. Details: Aggie Maroon - I have a 1999 Chevrolet Silverado Ext cab 1500. 178k miles for sale. It is the LS package. It has the 4.8L V8 and automatic. Third Door. AC works great. Everything works good except the gas guage doesnt always read. I just fill up the tank every 350 miles. During the last two years I have put a battery, u joints, water pump, and ac system. Body is good. A few light scratches and parking lot dings. The hood has been repainted from the clearcoat peeling. I would say the body and paint are average for the age and miles. The truck has an excellent service history and I would not be afraid to drive it across the country tomorrow. 512 430 zero one three eight.
