I took it into a shop and I directly quote from their diagnosis/problem sheet: ´Diagnosed using wet and dry compression test and #5 cylinder has bad compression due to leak down of exhaust lifter.´ That´s THEIR story and that´s all I can tell you. Come look at it and I´ll start it up.If you do some engine work to this car it should be a really good car for somebody. It´s in pretty good shape and it´s pretty clean (as evidenced by the pictures). I´m asking $750 - or best offer. Call Jeff at (706) 860 - 4106. Never been abused, raced, mudded or worked hard. 178K miles, new tires with only 3000 miles (BFGoodrich All Terrain TA 305-70-16), new injectors, glow plugs and valve adjustment within the last 2500 miles. Front end rebuilt within the last 8000 miles, new rear brakes within the last 2000 miles, leather seats with power driver seat, overhead console, folding armrest/console, CD with USB port, power windows, locks tilt and cruise. Tinted windows all around, bug deflector, vent visors, chrome door handles, chrome bow tie and chrome grille insert. Nerf bars, spray in bed liner, tool box and factory Chevrolet body side molding has been changed to GMC chrome body side molding. It also has a Banks Six Gun that´s been on it since 23,000 miles with no problems but sure has enhanced fuel mileage. I get an average of 16 MPG around town and 20-22 running 75-80 MPH on highway. The truck is in very good condition and has no issues. It does have a few small scratches--nothing bad. I don´t have to sell the truck so haggling/beating me down on price isn´t going to happen.
